How We Came to Be
Our Story
Oasis of Love was born from a journey of faith, purpose, and professional preparation.
As a child, I had a vision of people from my village wandering through a dry desert until they found a place of cool water, shade, healing, and hope. Although I did not understand it then, that vision stayed with me.
Years later, I developed a passion for helping people overcome emotional and psychological challenges. This led me to study psychology and dedicate my life to promoting mental well-being.
Clinical Foundation
After graduating, I volunteered at Murang'a Level 5 Hospital, where I provided counseling services to children, adolescents, youth, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges.
Professional Licensing
I later completed the required professional training and obtained my practicing license from the Counsellors and Psychologists Board of Kenya.
While seeking God's direction through prayer, I had a dream in which I was led to Isaiah 40. As I meditated on the chapter, I felt God speak clearly to my heart:
I am calling you back to the people in your village.
In that moment, my childhood vision, my professional training, and my calling came together.
That calling became Oasis of Love.
Today, Oasis of Love combines professional psychological care, faith, mental health education, youth mentorship, family support, and community outreach to help individuals and families thrive.
